Customers and Website Users

In the Clicks Bookstore Centre and on this website, customers and website users have the opportunity to enquire about our service.  In order to respond to these enquiries and provide these services, we ask customers and website users for some personal information.

          

          Information we collect in Centre and on our website and how it is used

We may collect the following information about you when you fill out our ‘Book Assessment’ form on our website.  This information will be your contact information (name, address, postcode, phone number, email address etc.)

We will use the information you provide to contact you by phone to arrange an Assessment date and time for your child/children.

We may use your information to improve our service and customer service levels, statistical analysis and customer surveys

We may use your email address when you complete your ‘Book Assessment’ form online to send you offers and news about our service if you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.

You have the right at any time, to ask us to stop sending offers and news about our service by emailing us on info@clicksbookstore.com or telephoning us on 0208 764 7725.

After the In-Centre assessment, if you enrol your child/children, you will be asked to complete an Agreement Contract (hard copy).  This information will include your contact information (name, address, postcode, phone number, email address, your child/children’s names and date/s of birth etc.)

Your data will be transferred onto our digital data base file.

We may use your email address when you complete your Agreement Contract to send you offers and news about our service if you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.

Data security

The information you provide will only be available to authorised personnel of Clicks Bookstore who need access to the information in order to do their roles.

We use computer and network security systems to have appropriate firewalls and encryption technology.

Your hard copy Agreement Contract will be stored in a file placed in a secure locked cupboard in our Office.

Digital data files are kept on an encrypted password controlled keys only available to authorised personnel of Clicks Bookstore who need access to the information in order to do their roles

How long we will keep your personal information

          We will keep your hard copy Agreement Contract on file whilst your child/children attend tuition sessions.

          Within one month of your child/children leaving, we will permanently discard (by shredding) your Agreement Contract.

We will keep your data on digital file for an indefinite period and may use your email address if you have given us permission to do so, to send you offers and news about our service.

You have the right at any time, to ask us to stop sending offers and news about our service by emailing us on info@clicksbookstore.com or telephoning us on 0208 764 7725.     

                  

            Who will we share your information with

            We will use your personal information to issue you with invoices and will send your invoice/s to our accountant for accounting purposes.

            We will share your information in the event of default of payment, with a Debt Collection Agency as agreed in the Terms and Conditions you consented to in the the Agreement Contract.

            We will share your personal information if requested for Legal reasons.

            We will not share, sell or allow use of your personal information in any other circumstances.

Tutors

If you are interested in applying to be a tutor at our Centre we ask you to email the following information for us to consider you for the role.  The information will include:

Identifying and contact information (name, address, phone, email etc.)

Your CV

Contact details of your Referee

If we ask you to attend an interview we will ask you to bring  copy of your DBS check.  (If you do not have a DBS certificate and we would like to offer you the role, we can make arrangements to apply for one on your behalf.)
